She works at the Repatriation Health Precinct which is under the umbrella of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN); one of the main hospitals under that umbrella being the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Dr Paul is a British-Australian of Indian heritage. After completing medical studies in Goa, India, in 1991 she moved to U.K and completed specialist training in Rehabilitation Medicine in Manchester and took on a consultant job in Leeds in 2005. Following an invitation from a professor at Flinders University she went to Adelaide on a sabbatical in 2007 and decided to stay!
Dr. Paul will share her experience of working in the public health systems of both countries and compare lifestyle pros and cons.
This provides an opportunity for medical students and doctors to ask questions from someone who has made the transition from the UK to Australia.
Certificates provided for attendance and feedback.
